MANILA, Philippines - The board of trustees of Grace Christian College at Grace Village, Quezon City announced the holding of the formal and official investiture of its first president, Dr. James Tan on Saturday, Feb. 27, 3 p.m. The solemn rites will be held at the Grace Christian Church Sanctuary.
The college which formally opened in June 2008, will have Dr. James Tan, the incumbent principal, invested as its first president. Dr. Tan, one of the five children of the late Julia Lee Tan, founder and former principal of Grace Christian High School (now Grace Christian College) has served the school faithfully in various capacities for over 20 years now.
Dr. Tan holds a degree in BS Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City; a master’s degree in engineering administration from George Washington University, USA and has doctor of science degree, minor in education from the same institution. Commission on Higher Education (CHED) deputy executive director Carmelita Yadao-Sison will officiate in the investiture.
Dignitaries from the government service and heads of local, foreign educational and religious institutions have been invited to grace this momentous occasion.
