British School Manila has new Senior School head

MANILA, Philippines - British educator Dinah Hawtree has been appointed head of British School Manila Senior School. Fluent in French and with a BA (Hons) in European Business Studies and the Diplome de l’Ecole Multinationale des Affaires, she has also done a PGCE (senior school teaching qualification) in Business Studies and French. She spent three years at The British Commission in Brussels, teaching English mainly to EU officials. She sees her move to Manila as a very important step in her career, and hopes to be a principal before she is 50. Dinah lives in Makati with her husband, Robert, who is retired but enjoys coaching and playing rugby
