MFI students take 3rd place in mechatronics nationals

MANILA, Philippines - Some students of the MFI Technological Institute (MFI-TI, formerly Meralco Foundation Institute) missed their graduation day. On Oct. 23, third-year students Leo Melvin Relativo, Brian Adams Tamayo, and Eugene Hermy Deferia of MFI’s thjree-year Industrial Technician Program (ITP) were busy competing at the National Mechatronics Skills Competition held at the TESDA Women’s Center in Taguig City. The national competition was organized by the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines in coordination with TESDA, and was participated by tech-voc schools, colleges, and universities who qualified during the zonal competitions. MFI-TI, the NCR zone champion, finished the nationals at third place.
