Bigger Pasiklaban sa Paaralan to be launched

-

MANILA, Philippines - The country’s biggest and only ICT integrated traveling quiz show, “Pasiklaban sa Paaralan Caravan” gets some fresh sprucing up.

The new “Pasiklaban sa Paaralan” will be launched via an NCR finals to be participated by schools who competed in previous competitions. This will be held on Sept. 16 and 17 at the 30th Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) which will be held at SMX Convention Center.

The high-tech quiz competition for grade school and high school students is the only touring interschool quiz competition that recognizes the leverage that information and communications technology (ICT) can give to academic instruction and the student’s classroom experience. The quiz includes questions related to Science, Math, Languages, Literature and General Information. It will travel around the country on board a custom-built van that is equipped with 10 laptops to be used as playing consoles, a server that will be the brain of the competition, a mobile sound system and LCD projectors.

“Pasiklaban sa Paaralan” will be touring approximately 65 destinations yearly, with each event capable of attracting thousands of students, teachers, administrators and even parents.

“Pasiklaban sa Paaralan” is a component of Diwa’s Superior Learning Experience (SLE) package. Diwa SLE is a collaboration of the company’s wide range of educational resources that are designed to elevate a student from one who studies to a student who learns; a teacher who lectures to a teacher who educates and a school that instructs to a school that trains.
