MFI to design forecasting software

MANILA, Philippines - In a rare partnership between tech-voc academic and industry, MFI Technological Institute (MFI-TI) formerly Meralco Foundation Institute has recently inked a deal with company Tills n Labels Systems Marketing which has commissioned the school to design a sales forecasting system.

“MFI-TI has proven its expertise in designing customized training programs for the industry, but this is the first time that the school will be designing software for a client,” said Joey Orating, an IT instructor who has been commissioned to lead the project along with Alvin Llave of the Business Innovations Department of MFI-TI.

The project will rely on the capability of MFI-TI’s faculty and the students of its two-year Information Technology course under the Industrial Technician Program (ITP).
