Experience high School in Canada

The experience of studying in another country is not only exciting but empowering and inspiring! Canada, with its superior educational system, peaceful and beautiful environment, has always been a favorite study destination of Filipino students.

Institute for Foreign Study (IFS), founded in 1991, is inviting students from ages 15 to 18 years old to study for a semester or school year in Canada. Program starts September 2009. Those who prefer a shorter program to simply take a “breather” from studies here and have a “taste” of the Canadian educational system may wish to consider a 12-week Canadian high school experience.

To qualify, applicants must be academically-motivated; in good health, open-minded and parents must be financially-capable. A student may choose to study in Ontario, British Columbia or Quebec. A selected Canadian family will host the student while a local coordinator will monitor and supervise the program in the local community to ensure that the student is doing well in school and in the community.
