DLSU students ace national engineering quiz

MANILA, Philippines — A team of chemical engineering students from De La Salle University topped the AutoMATHic 2018 National Collegiate Engineering Mathematics Quiz, an event organized by the University of the Philippines Civil engineering society. The winning team was composed of chemical engineering majors Cary Albert Chan, Jerome Ignitius Garces, and Sephi Marz Liclican. DLSU defeated 33 teams from 19 different schools. The quiz bee included topics from college algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
