Banat Opinyon

Counterfeit pain reliever drugs

SENIOR CITIZEN - Antolin dela Serna - Banat

Una sa tanan, ato kining kutluon gikan sa The Philippine Star: “The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned the public against the purchase and use of a counterfeit version of an over-the-counter medicine used for muscle pain relief.”

Padayon: “The FDA cautioned the public on the potential health risks associated with the consumption of counterfeit drugs. All health care professionals and the general public are hereby warned as to the availability of this counterfeit drug product in the market, which poses potential danger or injury to consumers,”

Let’s be mindful of the warning of the FDA, and heed to its admonition.

Kon gusto kono kang tahuron gihapon, sa you grow older, aniay pipila ka behavior (conduct, way of behaving and acting, manners, habits), nga dili maayong ipadayon, gikan kini sa internet (Global English Editing), sinuwat ni Mia Zhang:

1) Forgetting the power of humility. The magic word is humility, ang pagpaubos.

2) Ignoring the value of patience. Wala kitay pasiyensia, ‘this impatience is pushing people away.

3) Neglecting the importance of kindness. Importante kaayo ni, ang pagkalumo sa atong kasingkasing ngadto sa uban, being considerate vs. being rude, maka-kabig kini og respeto gikan sa uban.

4) Overlooking the art of active listening. Giingon dinhi nga sa atong pagpaminaw sa uban, we show others that we value their thoughts and opinions.

5) Clinging to outdated beliefs. Unsa man ni?  Internet: “A belief system is an ideology or set of principles that helps us to interpret our everyday reality. This could be in the form of religion, political affiliation, philosophy, or spirituality, among many other things. These beliefs are shaped and influenced by a number of different factors.”

Matud dinhi, be open minded, more adaptable, more understanding.

6) Dismissing the concept of lifelong learning. Gumikan sa atong katigulangon wala kini magpasabot nga we stop learning.

Matud pa, we still can learn something new each day. Our age doesn’t define us. Our willingness to evolve and grow does.
