Banat Opinyon

Ang nutritious nga avocado

SENIOR CITIZEN - Antolin dela Serna - Banat

Maayo ni alang kanatong mga senior citizens. Perhaps, gumikan kaha sa kadaghan sa lamian natong nga prutas, ato lang kining gi-take for granted, gipaki-bali-wala, nga kining mong mga fruits puno’ sa mga nutrients.

Unsa man nining nutrients? “It is a substance that provides  nourishment  essential for growth and the maintenance of life.” Ug ang avocado, matud pa, is rich in nutrients.

“Avocados are a source of vitamins C, E, K, and B6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids.” (Pangutana na lang mo sa inyong suki nga doctor o nutritionist unsa ni sila).

Ang mga essential nutrients sa avocado naglakip sa mga vitamins, minerals, protein, fats, water, ug carbohydrates. Kompleto, wala kini sa ubang mga frutas.“People need to consume these nutrients from dietary sources for proper body function. Essential nutrients are crucial in supporting a person's good health, and growth.”

Matud pa, “a cup of avocado meet 23% of the recommended value of folate,” so, gitambag nga himuon nga kabahin sa atong daily diet ang avocado, kon buot kita magmahimsog ang kasingkasing. Avocado has good amounts of vitamin E, monounsaturated fats, ug glutathione, nga maayo alang sa atong kasingkasing.

Unsa man kining folate? “Folate (vitamin B-9) is important in red blood cell formation and for healthy cell growth and function. So, vitamin B-9 diay ning folate. “Your body needs folate for your cells to divide. A form of folate, called folic acid, is used in fortified foods and most dietary supplements.”

2) Prevents stroke. Avocado contents high amount of folic acid, which as per various studies is known to help prevent strokes. 3) Lower cholesterol. 4) Nutrient-booster. Source of vitamin E and antioxidants. 5) For healthy eyes.

Maayo tingali nga magsugod na kita’g paapil sa avocado sa atong menu o sa atong daily diet. Generally, makatabang kini pagpahimsog sa atong panglawas.
