Election hotspot?

DURIAN SHAKE - Edith R. Regalado - Pilipino Star Ngayon

Ang ibig sabihin nito ay ang Comelec can place all national and local officials in these areas under its direct control and supervision.

At ang Category Red classification also means the Comelec “may direct the augmentation of personnel of the Philippine National Police and the Armed Forces of the Philippines as the need arises.”

Ano ‘yon?

At ito nga ang naging rason ng Comelec ----”in declaring Mindanao and 3 other areas as Category Red Election Hot Spots, the Comelec cited “suspected election-related incidents in the last two elections, together with serious armed threats posed by the New People’s Army, Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, Abu Sayyaf Group, and rogue elements of the Moro National Liberation Front and/or Moro Islamic Liberation Front and other analogous groups.”

Bakit? Bakit lahat-lahat at buong Mindanao na?
