Ang APEC Women Fora
MATAGUMPAY at makabuluhan ang Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Women and the Economy 2015 Fora na idinaos nitong Setyembre sa bansa.
Matatag na konklusyon at mensahe ng aktibidad ay ang mahalagang papel na gimagampanan ng kababaihan sa lipunan bilang “prime movers of inclusive growth” o tagapagsulong ng kaunlaran para sa lahat.
Inilatag ng mga kalahok ang iba’t ibang hakbangin na dapat isinusulong at ipinatutupad ng lahat ng bansa para sa kababaihan, tulad ng women’s economic empowerment; improved access to capital, assets and markets; skills and capacity-building; health; leadership; voice; innovation and technology; labor force participation; new opportunities for women; at gender equality.

— SB 888: Multidisciplinary research centers regar-ding women’s health and disease prevention and on hormone disruption;
— SB 980: One-month Non-cumulative Leave with Pay to women workers who undergo major surgical internal operations on their reproductive organs;
-SB 1053: Women’s right to know work conditions affecting their health;
-SB 1076: Protection for women against abuses of unequal power relations;
-SB 1482: Instituting a scheme in the Party List System that will increase women’s representation;
-SB 1514: Creating a Technical Institute within the National Bilibid Prisons Reservation and the Correctional Institution for Women;
-SB 1534: Establishing the Movement to Help Eradicate Rape and Other Female Abuses (MOTHER);
-SB 1982: Allowing married or legally separated women to use their maiden first name and surname;
-SB 2197: Expanding the prohibited acts of discrimination against women on account of sex;
-SB 2476: Address Confidentiality Program for victims of violence against women and their children.
