OSCA 2015
Ania ang mga major points sa mga laraw ni Doming Chavez for 2015: a) Harmonious workplace where all people are treated with dignity and respect and no one is subjected to embarrassment. Open dialogue and communication is encouraged. Office gossip is taboo.
b) By-laws is a must in every organization. It defines the internal structure, rules and policies of the association and serves as manual and guide in its operation.
c) Passbook scheme. Each member should be provided with a passbook, where membership fees, monthly dues and contributions are recorded, promoting transparency and accountability on the part of the officers and security among its members.
d) The residency issue must be resolved to avoid confusion to those who wish to apply for OSCA IDs, and as to when will they qualify for the cash assistance from city hall. e) The “BEST” and “CEST” program, conceptualized by former councilor Franklin Seno should be implemented, as it would benefit both the youth and the elderly along the concept of the four S (Students Serving Students and Seniors).
BEST stands for Barangay Education Supplement and Training; CEST: Community Education Supplement and Training, where the barangay can then be competitive in the field of science, engineering, and advanced agricultural technology; acquire livelihood know-how engage in it that includes swine dairy, poultry, tilapia, high valued crop production, and information marketing.
f) Physical fitness program. To keep alive and active the dormant physical and mental faculties of the senior citizens, a physical fitness activity be conducted, at least once a month, tapping the resources and capability of the City Sports Commission.
