Banat Opinyon

SENIOR CITIZENS CORNER - A.M. Dela Serna - Banat

Ania kining tambag sa usa ka senior citizen: “Just listen to my advice not because I am always right but because I have more experience being wrong.” Maldito gyud ning mga senior citizens da.

Unya: “We are often let down by the most trusted persons in our lives and loved by the most unexpected ones. Some make us cry for things that we haven’t done, while some ignore all our faults just to see us smile. Some leave us when we need them the most and some stick to us even if we ask them to leave. The world is a mixture of such people. We just need to know which hand to shake and which had to hold.”

Samtang si Boy Ledesma sa Suba mi-text usab niini:  “It’s not how well we jump over the obstacles, nor how fast we get to the top, but how often we stop to appreciate the simple things that makes life worthwhile. It’s really how others are happy because of us … how we give love and share; how we show gratitude & thanksgiving to God for everything we have that make other people joyfully happy.”

Sa iyang bahin si Dodong Casinillo  sa San Nicolas Proper nagkanayon: “The happiest people don’t necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything … Keep busy at something, a busy person never has time to be unhappy … Happiness is not a matter of good fortune or worldly possessions. It’s a matter of mental attitude. It comes from appreciating what we have, instead of being miserable about what we don’t have.”

Salamat. In the meantime, paminaw sa Senior Citizens Hours dyRC, 648 kHz, matag Sabado, 4:00-6:00 pm. Tawag sa 4125249, 4125298.
