Jose 'Joe' Pavia!

The National Press Club condoles with the family of the late Joe Pavia, who succumbed to a lingering illness Monday morning.

With his passing, press freedom has lost a pillar. The NPC mourns the death of one of its most respected members, an icon revered for his immense contribution to the cause of freedom.

Joe, was a lifetime member of the NPC. He was co-founder of the Confederation of Asean Journalists and an able chairman of the Club’s membership committee. He also used to manage the affairs of the NPC so diligently.

Mere words cannot be used to describe how grateful the NPC and its members are to Joe. In the same manner, we cannot find the right words and phrases to describe our loss.

To his family and friends, our deepest sympathies. To Mr. Joe Pavia, our heartfelt thanks. Your name will continue to reverberate in and around the four corners of the NPC.

You shall always be remembered, Joe.

Pagbabago sa PNP-FED

MALAKI ang pinagbago sa pagtrato ng madlang ‘pro-gun’ na kumukuha ngayon ng Permit to Carry firearmes Outside Residence dahil sipag at tiyaga ang ipinakikita ngayon ng mga tauhan ni Supt. John Luglug na bukas makalawa ay baka maging Sr. Supt. ito.
