Will Michelle Obama save America from Trump?

WHAT MATTERS MOST - Atty Josephus Jimenez - The Freeman

By the look of it, it now appears that the American voters are going to decide their political destiny on the basis of only one debate, and the numbers in the polls are going down for President Biden. The fickle-mindedness of Americans is leading them to forget Biden's more than 50 years of sterling service to the nation. Well, that is their prerogative and we cannot do anything about that.

But the Democrats are in a turmoil searching for a possible replacement four months before the first mail ballots are arriving. Can they really change horses midstream? They are looking at possible replacements including Vice President Kamala Harris but all of the prospects are most likely to lose to Donald Trump. The only lady in shining armor whose survey numbers exceed those of Trump is one who appears to be nonchalant about all these. Michelle Obama is one of America's most beloved and highly-esteemed first ladies, in the league of Democrats like Jackie Kennedy and Eleanor Roosevelt. Michelle has the credentials, the competence, the credibility, and the character that inspires respect and even admiration.

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama was born on January 17, 1964 and that means she is just 50 years young, if the Americans are not happy with the age of Joe Biden. She is like a breath of fresh air giving new rays of hope and inspiring people to be excited about the most probable first female American president. Among the prospective replacements, Michelle is the most acceptable, in fact, the most electable among all Democrats. She will get the block of black supporters away from Trump and she will unite the Democrats in this crucial election come November. There is now a very serious talk in the Obama household and I think that even former president Barack Obama is titillated with the possibility of transitioning from a mere former president to a future first gentleman, another record that he is going to make.

President Barack who grew up in Hawaii and in Indonesia became a political figure in Chicago all because of Michelle, who was raised in the south side of the famous windy city, and the great state of Illinois. This state was the home of the 14th US president, the greatest among all US presidents, Abraham Lincoln, who emancipated the African-Americans from the bondage of slavery and who delivered the famous Gettysburg Address on November 19, 1863. He also issued the famous Emancipation Declaration on January 1, 1863. The Obamas are great believers in the principles and values of the great Abe Lincoln. Michelle is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School. She is a lawyer and she met Barack at the law firm of Sidney Austin where Barack was working too.

Michelle was Barack's secret weapon in the campaigns of 2008 and 2012. She has a very strong rapport with people and is very articulate, eloquent, and very knowledgeable about issues domestic and global, as well as what matters most, from the economy to cultural matters. She has a very pleasing and engaging personality to the extent that their close friends would even refer to her as the greater Obama. She was the daughter of a full-time homemaker and her father was a secretary in a Chicago store. Her paternal great-great-grandfather Jim Robinson was born into slavery and was one of those emancipated by President Lincoln. Her story brings inspiration and excitement to voters from Illinois to Florida, from Massachusetts to Alaska.

I truly believe that Michelle can win over the anti-woman, anti-choice, anti-labor, anti-immigrant, and anti-Asian Donald Trump who has been convicted of multiple felonies. She is the only viable candidate who can win the elections and make history as the first woman to make it to the White House, not just as a first lady but this time as the first female president of the great nation of America.
