Tigbakay cancelled

NEXT TIME NA LANG. A group of neighbors who had been planning their own tigbakay (illegal cockfight) in their neighborhood on the weekends are now having second thoughts after seeing authorities raid an illegal cockfight in Barangay Paril, Cebu City.

“Bisan sa kalayo sa lugar ila man gihapon gibantayan. Mora’g di lang sa mi mopadayon,” he was heard saying.

However, he said after the heat has died down they might try again.
