SCARY. A man who travels to Cebu often said he is staying away from a certain chain of hotels. It’s not because they provide bad service but because he experiences “urom” (nightmares) whenever he stays there. He said he doesn’t experience this in other hotels, only hotels that belong to that particular brand.

“Nindot man ilang service. Ako lang uromon g’yud ko kung naa ko didto. Ambot ngano. Kapila na,” he said.
