It came out of nowhere

HE NOTICED ONLY NOW. A man looked out of his office window to notice that a gargantuan structure was now visible. It took him a few minutes to determine that it was one of the towers for the third bridge connecting the Cebu mainland to Mactan Island.

“Hala no, karon pa g’yud ko kamatikod nga naa na ang taytayan diha,” he was heard saying.

“Kamanhid sad nimo oy,” one of his co-workers commented.
