Breaking the rule

In a big supermarket in a city, shoppers are made to write their name in a form at the entrance. This is to help contact-tracing efforts in line with the pandemic. But in this supermarket, there is no pen or pencil or any writing equipment provided; shoppers need to bring their own pens. On one occasion, a female shopper told the guard she did not have a pen with her. According to an EAR informer, the guard responded: “Ayaw nalang suwat, ma’am.”
