The Fatima apparitions still unfulfilled

This Holy Week being incarcerated at home meant reading of old books and watching documentaries especially about why we are suffering in this global pandemic. It was then that I tuned to the messages of the Holy Virgin appearing in Fatima, Portugal to three young children in 1917. This brought me back to what I wrote 10 years ago in this corner about Antonio Socci, an acclaimed Italian journalist who concluded that there is another document of the Third Secret containing the actual words of Our Lady which Sister Lucia wrote “The doctrine of the faith will be preserved in Portugal.” This brought me to realize that this is still to happen in the future. 

As I said, I wrote this 10 years ago from the book “The Fourth Secret of Fatima” by Catholic author Antonio Socci. It was for me the most comprehensive dissertation about that famous event on the apparition of our Blessed Virgin Mary at the Cova de Iria in Portugal in October 13, 1917 before the three children.

We already know the two secrets, which we all know prophesied World War II and the end of Communism in Russia. We wrote separately on the 3rd Secret as it was kept in a Vatican vault only to be opened in the 60s. Yet when Pope John XXIII read the 3rd secret, he decided to send the sealed envelope back to the Holy Office and had it “quarantined” so it won’t be revealed to the public and won’t cause any panic.

In Fatima, the Blessed Virgin Mary requested the children saying, “To consecrate Russia into my Immaculate Heart. If Russia is not consecrated to my Immaculate Heart, she will spread her errors.” Since no Pope consecrated Russia, Communism spread to the end of World War II and ignited the Korean War, the Vietnam wars and all the other conflagrations, thanks to the USSR, which entered a “Cold War” with the United States and its NATO allies vs. the Warsaw Pact countries.

After an assassination attempt on him on May 13, 1981, Pope John Paul II asked to read the 3rd Secret of Fatima on July 18, 1981. His first thoughts were to immediately do the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This was supposedly done on Mar. 25, 1984. But in the end, he consecrated the whole World to her Immaculate Heart without mentioning Russia. Pope John Paul II wanted to read the 3rd Secret because it was supposedly linked to his assassination attempt. So once more allow me to reprint the 3rd Secret for your appreciation, which the Vatican revealed on June 26, 2000 that I’m repeating what I wrote in 2010. Sis Lucia said,

“After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand; pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice, ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!’

And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it’ a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father’. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark: before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting steps, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way.

Having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with its sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.” So the question is, whether the man in white was Pope John Paul II?”

Since we already know that it wasn’t Pope John Paul II, then Socci asked, “Who then was the Blessed Virgin Mary referring to?” Writer Socci believes that part of the 3rd Secret that is still unrevealed has yet to be given to the public. This is why he calls it the 4th Secret of Fatima.

Now does this 4th Secret contain the natural disaster the world is now suffering? It has been 113 years since the miraculous apparitions in Fatima, which means that the killing of the Pope and destruction of the seven hills of Rome still have not happened. That this global pandemic called COVID-19 has totally affected the entire world… are we now nearing the end of the world that we have known? With the world economy suffering like never before, so have we become witnesses to the start of a new world order?
