POTHOLES AND PLOT HOLES. A commuter told his driver he noticed something weird; roads that had no potholes and streets in good conditions were being torn up and prepared for “repairs.”

“Ambot ngano man ila to gi-ayo ang (name of street withheld) nga wa man to problema, unya ang (name of another street withheld) nga lubak-lubak na kaayo wa man g’yud hilabti. Karon ang (name of two-lane street withheld) ila na sang ayohon kunohay nga traffic naman na kaayo,” a commuter said.

“Kabalo na baya ka, hapit na baya eleksiyon,” his driver said.
