The public execution of Mayor Espinosa?
A few days ago, before he flew to Basilan for that historic meeting with Moro National Liberation Front, Presidential Adviser for the Peace Process Jesus "Jess" Dureza texted me that he was coming to Cebu to accept my invitation to appear on our talk show, Straight from the Sky, to talk about the 120 Days of Pres. Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte.
Call it a final presentation for me who after 16 years hosting a talk show for Cebu, I will be headed for my kidney transplant operation this week and if it is successful, I would undergo at least a two-month isolation in my home in order to avoid getting an infection, which could be fatal in my condition. This means I will be giving you special replayed shows that we have not yet replayed for the next two months. After all, we already made 870 episodes, where most have never been replayed.
I have personally known Sec. Dureza since he was with then Pres. Fidel V. Ramos and later as press secretary for then Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. He even remembers the last time we played golf in Boracay, which was also my last time to visit that island. I still recall to my surprise that he took a helicopter going to Boracay and landed on the first tee.
Our last meeting was on January 29, 2015 at the Molave Room of the Cebu Country Club where he was with the entourage of then Mayor Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte whom they introduced before 70 or so Cebuano businessmen. He came upon the invitation of former CCC Pres. Douglas Luym. Coincidentally, I was with Davao Archbishop Emeritus Msgr. Fernando Capalla at the Tavern of the CCC but refrained from joining that meeting with the Davao mayor.
Jess was surprised that I still have the photographs of that historic meeting where at the end of his usual curse-filled speech, Mayor Duterte said that if DILG Sec. Mar Roxas was running for President he would support his candidacy. Jess remembers that during the Q & A, I was the only person who had the courage to ask the mayor questions. As they say, the rest is history.

The big breaking news is the unexpected killing inside his jail cell of Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa the other day under the guise of serving a search or arrest warrant. Who had the motive to kill Mayor Espinosa inside his cell? This is something that Pres. Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte should now call for an open and impartial investigation before the Senate turns it into another circus. One of the suspects could be any of the names in the late Mayor Espinosa's affidavit. It contains top people who may have been his protectors in the illegal Drug trade business. So I don't want to pre-empt any investigation on this but only demand an impartial one.

This has been one of the worst presidential races that we have ever witnessed in the US. I was there in the US for the November 1972 Presidential election, which I consider tame. But now it is down to the wire and thanks to YouTube, we now know why the FBI is reopening this case wide open because of the emails of former US Rep. Anthony Weiner whose estranged wife Huma Abedin is the closet aide of Secretary Hillary Clinton.
It is no secret that Sec. Clinton is pro-late term abortion and just the other day, YouTube came up with a story of John Podesta, Clinton's Campaign manager that it got from Wikileaks that they together with the discredited Rep. Weiner were into what is known as "Spirit Cooking, a Dark Satanic potion which is nothing but witchcraft.
