Cold hotline?

THE EAR - Joey Villar - Banat

NOTICE. Inside a public utility bus that plies northern Cebu, a notice is urging passengers to text and call the bus company's management to report the misdeeds of their driver or conductor. The notice bears the cellphone number to which passengers may send their concerns.

BALONEY. One Ear informer, however, suspects that the hotline may not be working. He said he tried contacting the number to tell the management that the bus he was riding "did not follow" its designated route. He said the bus was not supposed to drop by Hagnaya in San Remigio as it had "Kawit-Daanbantayan" on its signboard. As a result of the extended route, he missed his relative's wedding. He did not receive any reply from the management.
