DRIVERS/PEDESTRIANS. Last week, a man from Belarus, while being toured around the city, expressed surprise at how pedestrians cross the streets without being run over.
MENTAL TELEPATHY. "There must be mental telepathy or something going on," one said. His companion, another Belarus national, replied, "That's nothing. Here, drivers can change lanes anytime they want and make a u-turn just about anywhere."
