Fasting season

FASTING. During the Holy Week or Semana Santa, Catholics are supposed to fast or refrain from eating or abstaining from unlimited food. But one Catholic school professor (a lady) was heard saying: "What fasting are you talking about?" she asked an Ear informer. "Look at the restaurants in the malls. They're filled with eaters of delicious foods even on Holy Week days."

FOOD ADS. The lady professor's companion, a nun, said: "Bitaw tinuod. Bisan ang atong mga newspapers ug magazines napuno og ads sa mga pagkaon nga makatintal sa mga nagpuasa." The professor shook her head saying: Oh, well, this is still a free country. Everyone is free to go to hell."
