TREE PLANTERS. Some 100 employees of a government office who went on a tree planting weekend camping five years ago, went back to their tree planting site recently and were dismayed to find only a few of the more than a hundred trees they planted "alive."

PROPER CARE. An Ear informer, one of the employees who planted the tree seedlings said he was told by a horticulture expert proper care of tree seedling is needed until after year-two. "Awahi ra ang hero," he said. Too late the hero?
