POPE. Many Taclobanons living in Metro Manila are coming home to Tacloban to see Pope Francis instead of joining the millions of devotees in Manila. The Cebuana wife of a Taclobanon businessman residing in Sta. Cruz, Manila, told an Ear informer they have finalized plans to come home for the papal visit.

 

SIGNIFICANT. The wife said it would be more significant for them seeing the Holy Father in their hometown. "Unom ka milyon kuno ang modugok sa Rizal Park, hapit di na ta makakita sa Santo Papa ana," said the wife. "Usa pa, Sir, nindot nang ang yuta nga gitumban unya sa Papa mao sang yuta nga tumban namong taga Tacloban."
