Caroling nuns
NUNS. A group of nuns belonging to a foreign-based congregation visited some families last Christmas and sang carols related to the birth of Christ. They did not solicit gifts, instead it was they who offered gifts to every family they visited.
SICK. The nuns caroled mainly to families with sick members. It's a commitment to a solemn vow. An Ear informer said the caroling by religious groups on families with sick members is widely practiced in Latin America, including Mexico. In Argentina, home country of Pope Francis, some members of religious groups push wooden carts loaded with gifts when visiting families on Christmas.
