Is C-Cimpel still relevant to coming polls?
The National Transformation Council held assemblies in Lipa City last Aug. 27, Cebu City last Oct. 1, Butuan City last Nov. 11, Clark/Pampanga last Dec. 3 and in SMX, Lanang in Davao City last Dec. 5. In every NTC assembly, we have two young men who spoke and gave power point presentations on the problems of our nation today.
The first speaker was Rev. Greco Belgica who won the case before the Supreme Court regarding the Priority Development Assistance Program and the Disbursement Acceleration Program and because everything is recorded in the SC… people who join the NTC assemblies are convinced that there was a systematic misuse of the Pork Barrel or PDAF and the DAP that allegedly enriched our corrupt politicians.
The other power point presentation was given by Atty. Glenn Chiong who spoke on the misuse of the Precinct Count Optical Scan and when he was finished… the audience gave him a standing ovation because it was for the very first time that many of them were given a detailed explanation as to how the electronic cheating was done. We've done five NTC assemblies already and the Comelec is still hell-bent on using the PCOS machines in the 2016 elections. This is why the Liberal Party today is still confident that DILG Sec. Mar Roxas can still win the presidency in 2016 because he will be elected by the PCOS machines and not by the Filipino people.
So, what are the thoughts of the Cebu Citizens Involvement and Maturation in People's Empowerment and Liberation on the use of the PCOS machines? I would like to believe that the C-CIMPEL has become an unwitting tool of the Comelec as it is unable to check the actual counting of the ballots as this is no longer feasible under the present electronic voting. Worse of all, I have yet to meet a C-CIMPEL member who is an expert on Information Technology.
At this point, I would like to request his Excellency Arch. Jose Palma to conduct a quick study on the role or relevance of C-CIMPEL in the last two national elections before the 2016 elections would be held. I'm sure that the Cebu Archdiocese wouldn't want C-CIMPEL to be the deodorant of the Comelec because that's exactly how many people in Cebu saw the C-CIMPEL during the last two electronic elections.
If you ask his eminence Ricardo Cardinal Vidal himself who was present during the Lipa City and the Cebu City NTC assembly, he is already convinced that the PCOS machines have taken away the constitutional right of the Filipino people to choose their leaders as that right has been replaced by the magicians of Smartmatic and the Comelec. I'll bet that if only a C-CIMPEL member had seen the powerpoint presentation of Atty. Chiong, he, too, would realize that we were all fooled by the Comelec.

Bureau of Corrections director Franklin Jesus Bucayu should be fired by Pres. Benigno Aquino III because of that dawn raid at the New Bilibid Prison led by no less than DOJ Sec. Leila de Lima herself. There she found luxurious apartments, air-conditioned cells, huge flat TV screens, Jacuzzi, a music bar, and carpeted floors all inside this national correctional facility supposedly for 18 drug lords.
This is corruption staring at our faces and if Pres. Benigno Aquino III doesn't fire director Bucayu, then we can say that his reforms are all part of his propaganda campaign. Just imagine those imprisoned drug lords still lording it inside their jail cells that no longer look like jails. Rather they feel they are in a luxurious condo in Makati. Worse of all, some P2 million was confiscated, including a huge amount of money in US dollars.
What's happening at the New Bilibid prison is visible proof of the double standard of justice prevailing in this country where the rich, the powerful, and the moneyed can literally get away with anything, while the nobodies or those without money just have to languish in a damp and overcrowded prison cell.
Watching the ANC News reports on this story, it is crystal clear that director Bucayu pretended not to know that this was happening under his watch. I would like to believe that whenever a new BUCOR head takes over the job, he must inspect every nook, ceiling, and cranny himself and not rely on what his corrupt officers report to him. This is why Bucayu must be fired!
While the majority of the Filipino people live in poverty in squatter colonies, it is a crime to allow luxury living inside our prison cells. No doubt, corruption has become a way of life. The rich control our political system. Even jail guards control those who are incarcerated. It is a mockery of our Justice system.
