Candy sellers

THE EAR - The Freeman

CANDIES.  A Caucasian woman and two of her children (about five and seven years old) were seen selling coco candies to shoppers outside a shopping mall. The mother, an American, our Ear informer learned, said they belonged to a church group and selling candies was part of their Christmas fund raising for the streetkids.

CAROLERS. The mother said this Christmas fund raising project is also done by other mothers belonging to their church in other parts of Southeast Asia. "We share some of our sales with the street caroling kids," she said.
