Too old to claim benefit

SENIOR CITIZENS. Some senior citizens in Cebu City don't claim their annual financial aid from the city government for one reason or another.

TOO OLD. An old lady said since she could hardly walk, representatives from her barangay used to bring the money meant for her to her home. But when this practice stopped, she also stopped to benefit from the government program.

WISHFUL THINKING. She said she needs money to buy medicine and hopes to hear barangay workers knocking on her door again bringing the money due her.
