Police jeeps

JEEP. A retired US Army technical sergeant now living with a Pinay wife in Cebu has suggested that instead of equipping the Phl National Police with closed sedan  cars, the government should consider supplying the police with military jeeps like those used by the US Armed Forces in World War II.

FREEDOM.  He said for patrol duties the military jeep is more efficient than a closed automobile. "For one thing there is more freedom in movement," he stressed. He said that many police forces in South America where chasing gangsters is a common sight is now the police patrol car used.
