Jeepney carolers

CHILDREN CAROLERS. Christmas being just around the corner again, the children carolers are back "pestering" jeepney passengers. "Pestering" is the word used by a housewife who said she considers the kids a nuisance.

BACKPACK RIDERS. "Nuisance" though these kids may be, there are Caucasian backpack travelers who find them fun and entertain them. One recent Saturday afternoon two Caucasian travelers on board a jeepney had an altercation with a senior citizen who told the women not to spoil the street kids with money. This, according to our Ear informer who got scolded by the elderly passenger when he said: "Sagdi ra na sila Nang, nabaghuan ra na sila sa atong kustom."
