Wrong gravesite

THE EAR - The Freeman

GRAVEYARD. The priest administrator of a Roman Catholic cemetery said in a recent homily that the living must visit from time to time the graveyard of their departed kin. He called an incident where two families who seldom visited their dead could not locate the burial plots of their "loved ones."

QUARREL. The two families quarreled. "Masig-angkunay sa lubong nga wa'y lapida," the priest said. It turned out, according to him that the dead of one of the two quarreling families was buried in another cemetery. "Muna nga suroy-suroya sad tawon ninyo ang kunohay pinangga ninyong minatay," the priest said.
