Melted candles

CANDLES. A nun belonging to a local congregation of nuns told some cemetery-goers not to shoo away children collecting melted candles because  they earn something from those used or melted candles. "They sell the tallow or wax of the candles they had collected to a candle factory," the nun said.

SQUATTER. The children gathering the melted candles from the graves come from a squatters area and from the sale of the melted wax they had collected they are able to buy something to eat, according to the nun.
