Joint prayer

JOINT PRAYER. Here is something for Ripley. A Christian family and a Muslim family, both neighbors in Lahug, pray together for political peace in the country. Members of both families gather together and pray a specially drafted prayer seeking "the Creator's" intervention in "stopping heated political disagreements" in the country. The prayer is in Tagalog.

SPOKESMAN. A spokesman for both families told an Ear informer that the members of both families are "sick and tired" of listening to what they called "attacks and counter-attacks" by politicians which only hinder the growth of the country. The prayer ends with: "To God be the glory."
