OVERHEARD. The government is giving much attention to Persons With Disability. Laws benefitting the disabled have been passed. One law requires building owners to provide access ramps for PWDs. But a nurse I know says: "Naay access ramp nga dili ma-access sa nag-wheelchair kay hiktin ra kaayo dili kaagian og wheelchair." Another observer says: "Ang access ramp sa usa ka building dili magamit sa bakol kong bana kay gitugwayan ug mga kanding."
