Non-Catholic selling Sto. Niño images

THE EAR - The Freeman

RELIGIOUS IMAGES. Non-Catholics have long been criticizing, sometimes insulting, Catholic for venerating images of saints. It's sinful. they say, for keeping religious images, known as "rebolto." But a husband and wife from a northern Cebu town who admit to being non-Catholics earn a living by selling Sto. Niño images.

OTHER SAINTS. Aside from the Sto. Niño images the couple also sells other religious images. "Supak  unta ni sa among relihiyon apan panginabuhi ning amoa," the husband told an Ear informer. "Nakasabot man ang among mga kauban pero naay pipila nga nasuko namo."
