The faces of the missing

THE EAR - The Freeman

GIVING TRAGEDY A HUMAN FACE. One of the first things relatives of those missing in disasters do is post MISSING notices of their loved ones and who to contact when, or if, they are found. A makeshift notice board now stands outside the Cosmopolitan Funeral Homes in Junquera St. with images of those still missing after the St. Thomas Aquinas sinking last week. An Ear observer said he went there to sympathize with those whose loved ones are still missing and visited the notice board. “Nanimbaug ang balahibo sa akong liog tinan-aw atong mga nawnga oi,”  he said

UK ADVISORY. The UK has issued an advisory to its citizens here to avoid ferry travel in the Philippines if necessary. “What will they do if there is a plane crash, a bus crash, a PUJ collision and a motorcycle accident? Will they also discourage their residents from all form travel in the Philippines?” a man was heard asking.
