A father's advice

INVOLVEMENT. A respectable university professor (in Manila) has strongly advised his only son, now a medical student, never to get romantically involved with a movie star. “If you don't want to make a rotten mess of your life,” the father was quoted by our Ear informer as saying.

EXAMPLE/PROOFS. The father who belongs to well-known Catholic organization for men, cited many cases some of them current as proof to support his claim that many good men's lives got into what he called “rotten mess” after getting romantically involved with a movie actress. “Of course, there are exceptions,” he hastened to add.
