Firecrackers no longer that popular

HINAY. An Ear informer observed that firecrackers have lost their popularity. “Gamay na lang ang magpabuto. Kasagaran sad sa mga magpabuto, kanang mga pyrotechnics na ang gamiton, kanang mga nindot kaayo nga manglupad ba. Nawala na ang mga whistle bomb, triangle ug uban pang pabuto nga uso niadto,” he said.

BOOM. “Nakat-on na siguro ang mga tao ug nahadlok sad nga mabuthan,” he added, noting that last Christmas, there were only a handful of his neighbors who lighted firecrackers. “Pero wa pa ta kasiguro kung mao ba gihapon karon bag-ong tuig. Basin diay og naghunat ra sila,” he said.
