Kiddies’ leash

KIDDIES’ LEASH. An American mother was seen arguing with a Filipina mall shopper over the American’s use of what is known as kiddies’ leash. It’s a cord attached to a child on one end and to the mother on the other end. The purpose, according to an Ear informer, is to allow the mother to move freely without fear of seeing the child stray away from her.

“INHUMAN”. The Pinay shopper believed this was “inhuman” and a violation of the law against inhumanity to children. An observer said, in a talk with our informer, that kiddies’ leash is common in the US and Europe. It is used to avoid the child from straying away from the mother in a crowded place.
