Some Father's Day greetings are addressed to Mothers

Yesterday was Father’s Day. I asked a college co-ed if she said “I love you” to her Dad. She said: “Yes, to my Mom.” She said her Mom has been her Dad since her real Dad vanished in thin air after she was born.

You must’ve noticed that there are many non-Catholic programs on TV. “I listen to them all,” says my friend Teddy H. “It’s the reason why I have remained a Catholic to this day.”

Teddy H. says: “They all base their attacks against the Catholics on the Bible but I’m confused because they interpret the ‘capitolo’ and ‘versiculo’ differently.” But he adds that he continues to listen to these religious TV programs “to be entertained.”

In his column last Friday, JST talked about collateral damage in connection with the Oklahoma-Miami titular fight. Collateral damage is also what happens to most newspaper publishers who are charged with libel for the alleged libel allegedly committed by news reporters.
