This fifth grader sells "rainwear"

THE EAR - The Philippine Star

ENTERPRISING GRADER. A fifth grader in a public school in the city is in the business of selling what her parents call “rainwear”. The rainy season having arrived and many students and pupils — even their teachers– need something to wear like raincoat, umbrella, hat, etc.

FINANCER. Nancy (not her real name) told an Ear informer that her parents act as financer. She orders from Papa and Mama the goods she wanted to sell. “They buy them and Nancy sells them,” our informer said. She returns the capital to Papa and Mama while she keeps the profit. Nancy’s teachers have commended her for her business sense “which could lead to her bright future” according to the principal of her school.
