(Part 2 .. continued from last Saturday…)

And history was made this week. The Chief Justice has been convicted of culpable violation of the constitution and betrayal of the public trust. Is non-declaration in one’s SALN an impeachable offense, considering that one can actually amend it or pay a fine for late submission? The great Cory speechwriter Teddyboy Locsin has these pressing questions to ask: “Can that be wrong which everyone does under a law, and only one is accused of it?” “Can the Chief Justice be impeached for his interpretation of the law that his accusers completely agree with by not signing their waivers?”

But I’ll leave that to legal experts to settle amongst themselves. One good thing that came out of it though is the focus on the SALN, a piece of paper which, till the last stretch of the impeachment trial, has been treated with utter neglect by many of our beloved civil servants (and by us, the unwitting public).

But the unseated Chief Justice wasn’t completely useless. Corona will be remembered for two things: as the first public official successfully impeached and convicted; and the Chief Justice who successfully lead a Supreme Court that dismantled the ancient evil that is Hacienda Luisita. Justice is served.. and as ever, it’s a dish best served bittersweet.

But I’ll let you in on a secret: this is all part of a multi-layered subterfuge. The first level is what Noy and his allies have been trying to achieve since he ascended to the presidency: control of the three supposedly independent branches of government, a not-so clandestine move I’m surprised his Yellow supporters can’t see, or maybe refuse to acknowledge.

The second level is one that is planned and executed on a psychic, even spiritual level. It’s a highly covert machination (one where even the major players are completely unaware) controlled by moi, an integral component to my ultimate plan of world domination. (God bless the three brave senators who, despite standing to gain nothing, voted according to what they believe in their heart and minds is the right choice, despite the unpopularity of their vote) With the help of the malleable, hypocritical, holier-than-thou senators whose convictions are usually on the market (in other words, usually for sale), I’ve secured my much desired conviction for Corona.

So yes, with respect to the second level subterfuge (“evil plan”), I am surely happy that the Chief Justice was convicted. Heck, I made sure through the senators that he would!

Are you curious why? Because the sooner this bratty president gets everything he wants (i.e., control of the three branches of government), the sooner he self-destructs (you know what they say about too much power; now think of the figuratively smallest person you know having that much control: a ticking time bomb is what that person is, a disaster of cataclysmic scale waiting to happen). The sooner he self-destructs, the sooner Filipinos will see (hopefully, fingers crossed) the nothingness and emptiness from which he’s anchored his image and credibility and built his kingdom.

The education of a people is what I desire. If we remain to be the hyper emotional flock we are, it would be almost impossible to shepherd everyone to the peak where we get to rule the world.

So the events in the last month or so, even if they seem like setbacks at first glance, are essential elements to my would-be successful bid to conquer the planet: Jessica’s defeat, Corona’s conviction, and everything else, all meant to happen according to schedule, like clockwork, with ‘passionately Swiss’ precision! 

To the president, here’s Corona’s head (without the crown) specially served to your majesty on a silver platter. Now it’s all set:
