Uninformed newsmen

THEY’RE SUPPOSED TO BE NEWSPEOPLE. In a media gathering for an event, a writer of a tabloid was in a table with other media personalities from an AM and FM stations. Before lunch was served, they were talking about many things including the recent incident which involved a Japanese young woman who was killed by her Filipino husband. The personalities from the FM stations, a girl and a young man asked when, where and how it happened. Obviously, they did not know about the news, when it landed on front pages of all newspaper and had been talked about over the airlines.

THE WRITER FROM THE TABLOID SIGHED. “Haay Pastilan! Ka luoy ba niining duha ka taga FM station uy! Wa may kalibutan sa panghitabo sa palibot. Nasayod kaha sila nga naglinog dili pa dugay?
