IDOL AND VOICE. Pinoys worldwide are glued to their TV sets to watch Pinays Jessica Sanchez compete in American Idol and Cheesa Laurete in The Voice. Jessica is Fil-Mexican while Cheesa is pure Filipino with roots from Cebu. “Ngilngig kaayo mga bayhana. Nindot kaayo ug mga tingog,” said an Ear informer who is a fan of both singers.

KINSA’Y MAS SIKAT? “Naa lang ko’y nabasahan nga article online nga ngano kunong mas grabe ang suporta kang Jessica nga di man pure Pinoy. Angay unta kuno, si Cheesa gyud ang suportahan kay pure. Ngano man diay ug silang duha gyud ang atong suportahan?” said the informer, adding that “bisan kinsa nga naay dugong Pinoy ang atong suportahan.”
