Fear of quake causes change of wedding site

- The Ear -

WEDDING VENUE CHANGED. A wedding scheduled on Valentine’s Day in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental, will push through despite the earthquake that hit the city. But the wedding venue has been transferred to Bacolod City, where the bride hails from. This matter nearly caused the suspension of the wedding because the groom’s parents did not approve of the change of wedding site. But sober-minded family members eventually approved the change of site, according to an Ear informer.

FEAR OF ANOTHER QUAKE. Our informer learned that a change in wedding site was decided because some members of both families (those of the groom and bride) feared another strong quake would rock their city at the time the wedding is solemnized.
