Cruelty to an animal

DRAGGED DOG. While walking along the South Expressway (Natalio Bacalso Ave.) one afternoon, a Caucasian woman saw two streetboys riding on a bicycle with a small dog tied with a piece of string to the rear of the bike. She told an Ear informer that the dog was screaming in apparent pain as it was dragged back and forth.

NO ONE CARED. The woman said she asked some passersby to do something to stop the cruelty to the dog. But no one cared. She tried to look for a cop or anyone in authority but saw no one. It was learned later that the poor dog died, the informer told The Ear.
