What's in "Bato Balani" that makes devotees shed tears?

- The Ear -

TOUCHING. A middle-aged madre (nun) was heard telling some students (girls) in a local private school: "There's something in the song 'Bato Balani Sa Gugma' that touches me so hard my tears would just fall as I sing it with the devotees of the Sto. Niño."

THEY TOO. There was a chorus of: "Me, too" and "Ako sad bitaw , Sister." An Augustinian priest told an Ear informer: "They are touched by the song, simple thou it is, because they feel it... They feel there is mutual love between them and the Holy Child."
